Russian investor bids for ESC’s 50% stake

TEHRAN – Victor Rashnikov, a Russian billionaire, is eager to purchase the 50-percent share of the Esfahan Steel Company (ESC), said the managing director of ESC here on Monday.
Talking to Fars News Agency, Bahram Sobhani announced that the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) and Iranian Privatization Organization (IPO) have expressed their assent with the request.He added that a 13-member delegation was dispatched to Iran to technically appraise the complex and submit the prepared report to Rashnikov for his further decision.
